Why did the cookie go to the doctor?

Well, according to a local cookie aficionado, it’s simply because the cookie felt “crummy.”

Nine-year-old, Gianna, spent her quarantine time doing something a little different than most. She was working on perfecting her cookie recipes and even opened her own business - Gi Bakes, LLC!

That’s right! These cookies will surely bring out your inner nine-year-old, too! From bubble gum flavored to potato chip chocolate chip, this girl has thought of it all.

Outside of the kitchen, Gi is your average sweet, fun loving kid! She loves to dance, play softball and spend time with her friends.

It was SUPER exciting to see Gi in action - bopping around the kitchen, throwing cookies in the oven, prepping the next batch and boxing up orders. With a little help from mom, Gi was able to fill EIGHT orders before getting ready to enjoy some much needed family time with her Mom, Dad, sisters and baby brother.

Inspired yet? Hold tight… it gets better! With some inspiration from her favorite recipe notebook, Gi drew up her own logo and even paid someone to bring that vision to life. To top that - Gi saved up enough cookie money to buy her very own PINK kitchen mixer! For Gi, this is only the beginning; she has even bigger dreams that she is striving to reach. With her passion and determination, I know for sure that she can make it happen.
